CPN-UML Parliamentary Party (PP) Leader, KP Oli has met with India’s chief opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s Department of External Affairs Chief, Vijay Jolly, as the latter called on Oli at a hospital in New Delhi, Tuesday.
On the occasion, Jolly handed over the separate congratulatory messages of BJP Chair, Rajnath Singh, and Prime Ministerial candidate, Narendra Modi, to Oli for being elected as the PP Leader.
Jolly also inquired about the health condition of Oli, who is on a medical trip to India. Oli, a kidney transplant patient, needs to visit his doctor at every three months. This process, however, was stalled due to the Constituent Assembly elections back home.
Oli and Jolly further discussed Nepal-India bilateral relations along with political issues including the upcoming elections in India and the constitution making process in Nepal, it is learnt.
