Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mahendra Bahadur Pandey has said that the Nepali workers in the Gulf countries are much exploited and that the government would take initiative to free the Nepali workers from such exploitation.
Minister Pandey said this while speaking at a program in Kathmandu Saturday.
On a different note, he said education should be catered in a way it promotes nationality and contributes to the national prosperity. In this regard, he pointed out the need for cooperation between the government, teachers’ unions and the private school owners.
Minister Pandey was speaking at the program of Suryodaya Secondary School, as he distributed prizes to students with best performances in various streams.
School Principal Lakshya Bahadur KC said the State should recognize the contribution of private schools to the development of education.
