Nepali Congress vice president Ram Chandra Poudel has said that his party is satisfied with the activities of the government.
Speaking at a press meet in Biratnagar on Wednesday, Poudel said the government has been carrying out its regular works and added that the nomination of 26 lawmakers and appointment of ambassadors will be held soon.
Stating that the new constitution would be inclusive and democratic, Poudel said the NC would prefer seven to eight provinces in a federal set up.
Poudel pointed out the need of building provinces in view of available facilities and comfort of people.
Commenting on the budget for the fiscal year 2014/15, Poudel said it is inclusive.
"Farmers are excited about various programs brought by the government in the budget as these programs would help uplift their living standard," the NC vice president noted.
