Govt allots new responsibilities to recently retired secys

A cabinet meeting on Friday has decided to provide new responsibilities to two recently retired secretaries Krishna Hari Baskota and Yubraj Bhusal on Friday.

According to government spokesperson, Minister for Information and Communication Minedra Rijal, the cabinet meeting has decided to appoint Finance Secretary Yubaraj Bhusal, as chief of Nepal Administrative Staff College and a former Secretary of the Council of Ministers, Krishna Hari Banskota, as an expert member of the High Level Committee for Administrative Reform for a term of one year. Finance secretary Bhusal's tenure ends today.

Last Friday, the cabinet meeting had approved the resignations of five government secretaries Krishna Hari Baskota, Sushil Ghimire, Nathuram Chaudhary, Ganesh Raj Joshi and Pratap Kumar Pathak, who reached 30 years of service in civil service.
