PM Koirala and Indian PM Modi hold meeting

Prime Minister Sushil Koirala and the visiting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi held one-on-one talk at the Prime Minister's Office in Singha Durbar, as scheduled.

According to the Prime Minister's advisor on foreign affairs, Dr. Dinesh Bhattarai, they exchanged views on matters of mutual interest and bilateral concern as well as on contemporary political issues.

The Indian Prime Minister's visit is expected to add a new dimension to the Nepal-India ties as well as to identify new areas of mutual cooperation, Dr Bhattarai added.

This is to be followed by the delegation level talks between the two countries to be led by their respective Prime Ministers.
