The parliament's Disciplinary and Monitoring Committee has asked Prime Minister Sushil Koirala to furnish replies on relief distribution and rehabilitation of the flood and landslide victims.
A meeting of the committee held at Singha Durbar, Kathmandu took a decision to this effect on Sunday.
As per the decision, the committee has asked PM Koirala to be presented in the committee and furnish his explanation on Tuesday.
Likewise, the parliament's Development Committee has instructed the government to immediately start reconstruction of roads and bridges damaged by the flood and landslide incidents.
"We have decided to discuss the issue in detail with the government," says Rabindra Adhikari, the committee's chairperson.
