The Choichhog Pooja or the spiritual offerings ritual worship organized at Bouddhanath since March 14 concluded today (Monday).
The Ngayur Bhalhyul Mhachiga Lachhog, a religious organization of Mahayani sect of Buddhism, organized the worship wishing for world peace and welfare of human beings.
During the worship organized by Mahayana Buddhism, 108 Kangyur Tripitak scriptures were recited in the faith to develop positive views towards animals and human beings.
The devotees also worshipped Khandoma Hyumchhen, the goddess of compassion. As many as 500 Lama monks and large number of devotees participated in the worship conducted under the leadership of revered Guru Tulku Losang Namgyal Rinpochhe.
