Nepali National Cricket Team has lost its first practice match against Delhi District Cricket Association (DDCA) U-25 by four wickets held at Feroz Shah Kotla Ground, Delhi on Monday.
Nepal is in Delhi for practice matches as part of the preparation prior to the upcoming T20 World Cup Qualifiers and ICC World Cup Qualifiers.
DDCA U-25 met the target of 138 runs in 19.1 overs with the loss of six wickets. Dhruba Shorev scored highest of 73 off 46 balls while Pawan Negi contributed 26 runs and Adityya Kauushik 15 runs for DDCA.
Jitendra Mukhiya and Basant Regmi grabbed two wickets each for Nepal.
Subash Khakurel scored 45 runs, Paras Khadka 39 runs, Gyanendra Malla 26 runs and Binod Bhandari 11 runs for Nepal. Varun Sood took two wickets for DDCA U-25.
Nepal will again take on DDCA U-25 in its second practice match at Roshanara Club Ground on Tuesday. nepalnews.com
