Nepal defeated District Cricket Association (DCA), Gaziabad, India by 55 runs in the sixth practice match held at Neheru Cricket Stadium, Gaziabaad, India on Monday.
In the first batting, Nepal scored a total of 144 runs losing eight wickets in 20 overs. Pradeep Airee scored 39 runs, Gyanendra Malla
32 runs, Rahul Vishwakarma 24 runs and Mahesh Chhetri 22 runs.
Asif Mansuri claimed three wickets while Gaurav Tomar and Sanjeev Singh took two wickets for DCA.
While chasing the target, DCA was restricted just to 89 runs in 17.4 overs as Avinash Karn grabbed three wickets while Jitendra Mukhiya and Rahul Vishwakarma claimed two wickets each. Aadil Raza scored 22 runs for DCA.
Nepal will take on Invitational XI in its seventh practice match at Bharatnagar Academy Ground on Tuesday.
This is the fifth consecutive victory for Nepal. The national team is in 10-day India tour for practices matches as part of the preparation prior to upcoming T20 World Cup Qualifiers and ICC World Cup Qualifiers.
The T20 World Cup Qualifiers is going to be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in November and ICC World Cup Qualifiers in New Zealand next year in 2014.
