APF jumps to 2nd spot as Police beats JYC in A Division Football

Armed Police Force (APF) has jumped to the second spot after defeating Ranipokhari Corner Team (RCT) 2-1 in the Martyrs Memorial Red Bull A Division Football League held at Dasharath Stadium on Wednesday.

Ranjan Bista scored both goals for APF to lead the team to victory as Suman Lama scored a consolation goal for RCT.

With the win, APF is crawling behind Manang Marshyandi Club (MMC) with 12 points each after playing six matches. However, MMC has played five matches so far.

Nepal Police Club (NPC) defeated Jawalakhel Youth Club (JYC) 2-0 in another match of the day played at the same venue.

Ganesh Khadka and Jumanu Rai scored a goal each for the Police to secure an emphatic victory. NPC has also climbed to the fourth spot accumulating 10 points, behind Friends Club, which has also 10 points after playing their respective five matches.
