APF moves to 3rd spot as Sankata thrashes Boys Union to bottom

Armed Police Force (APF) thrashed Jawalakhel Youth Club (JYC) 3-1 to climb to third spot in the ongoing Martyrs Memorial Red Bull 'A' Division Football League held at Dasharath Stadium on Tuesday.

Rajendra Rawal scored two goals while Ganesh Lawati netted a goal for APF. Pradeep Maharjan scored a consolation in the 74th minute for Jawalakhel.

So far, APF has played nine matches to accumulate 17 points in the league’s chart behind Three Star Club which has also same 17 points but is ahead on goal difference. JYC is at the 11th position with 10 points.
Manag Marshyandi Club (MM) is currently at the top of league chart with 22 points.

Sankata Club defeated Boys Union Club (BUC) 3-0 in another match of the day. Rajiv Gurung, Salyan  Khadgi and Anjan Lakhaju netted a goal each for Sankata to add three points in its table.

Sankata also improved its position to sixth with 13 points after nine matches. However, Boys Union was thrashed to bottom of the league’s table.
