Nepal has lost to host Thailand by eight wickets in its second match of the ongoing ACC Women's Premier-2014 held at Royal Chiang Mai Golf Club in Thailand on Thursday.
Nepal had to face humiliating defeat as it could post only a meager target of 40 runs in 28 overs in the first inning. Saraswati Chaudhary was the highest scorer with 11 runs.
Thailand’s Sornnarin Tippoch took three wickets while Chanida Sutthiruang and Nattakan Chantam claimed two wickets each.
In return, Thailand easily chased the target in 13.1 overs with the loss of only two wickets. Nattakan Chantam scored 25 runs.
Sarita Magar and Sita Magar took a wicket each for Nepal.
Nepal had defeated Iran by a massive 221 runs in the inaugural match of the tournament held at Chiang Mai in Thailand on Tuesday.
Now, Nepal will take on Bhutan on Friday in its third match.
