Machhindra Football Club (MFC) thrashed leader Manang Marshyandi Club (MMC) 4-0 in the Super Six round under the Martyr's Memorial Red Bull A Division League held at Dasharath Stadium on Monday.
Machhindra took a lead in the 27th minute as Sujal Shrestha scored in an own post and Karna Limbu doubled the tally in the 52nd minute. Then Sushil KC scored another two goals in 55th minute and 72nd minute to make it 4-0.
With the win, MFC has moved to third spot in the league’s chart accumulating total 25 points. Despite losing today’s match MMC is at the top of the chart with 29 points, three points ahead of Nepal Police Club (NPC).
All the Super Six teams have played their respective 14 matches. Armed Police Force (APF) and Three Star Club (TSC) will vie in the next match.
