The country's National Cricket team will be sporting a brand new jersey as they take the field at the ICC T20 World Cup in Bangladesh.
The new jersey of the Nepali National Cricket team for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup has been unveiled amidst a press conference in the capital on Sunday. The jersey was jointly unveiled by National Sports Council (NSC) member-secretary Yuvaraj Lama and representatives of BS Sports.
The blue and red jersey has CAN's logo and also that the main sponsor BS Sports. BS Sports is the clothing manufacturer of Singapore’s multinational company Singa Steel SG and has provided the jersey as per the three-year sponsorship deal signed with Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) in December.
The company has agreed sponsor the National Cricket Team including men’s, women’s and U-19 with the gears worth around Rs 30 million.
The deal was signed between Singa Steel CEO Saad Khan Januza, who is also the skipper of the Singapore national team, and CAN President Tanka Angbuhang.
