Nepali National Football Team has left for Qatar to play a friendly match against Yemen on Sunday.
The players include goalkeepers Kiran Chemjong, Ritesh Thapa and Bishal Shrestha, defenders Sagar Thapa, Sandip Rai, Rogit Chand, Sabindra Shrestha, Bijaya Dhimal and Rabin Shrestha are also in the squad.
Similarly, Bhola Silwal, Raju Tamang, Bikram Lama, Jagajeet Shrestha and Sujal Shrestha are mid-fielders while forwards include Santosh Sahukhala, Jumanu Rai, Anil Gurung, Deepak Rai, Ashim Jung Karki and Karna Limbu.
Rajukaji Shakya is also with the team as head coach and Upendra Man Singh is an assistant coach.
Nepal will play friendly match with Yemen at Al Arabi Stadium in Doha on Tuesday.
All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) bade farewell to the team amidst a function at Dasharath Stadium today morning.
Speaking at the farewell programme, ANFA president Ganesh Thapa also informed that the national team will also play friendly match with Philippines in 11 April. “Similarly, ANFA will set similar matches with other nations as well.”
