U-23 football team off to Bangladesh for friendlies

Nepal's U-23 football team left for Bangladesh on Monday where they will play two friendly matches against Bangladeshi teams in Dhaka and Sylhet.

Youth and Sports Minister Purusottam Poudel, National Sports Council member-secretary Yuvaraj Lama and All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) president Ganesh Thapa jointly bade the team farewell amidst a function in Kathmandu on Monday.

The U-23 team will play its first match on August 26 in Dhaka and the second on August 29 in Sylhet.
