The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index went downhill on Tuesday too, losing 10.93 points to settle at 478.47 points when trading closed.

All the Nepse sub-indices experienced a downward slide on Tuesday.

The banking sector lost the most among the indices shedding 17.95 points followed by development banks which went down by 6.71points.

Similarly, the hydropower group lost 1.7 points to rest at 797.15 points, finance declined by 0.51 points to reach 493.85 points, insurance went down by 0.63 points to end at 573.64 points and group categorized as 'others' made a loss of 1.18 points to rest at 535.78 points.

The share market witnessed a total turnover of Rs. 22,144,059 million with 58, 397 shares being traded. nepalnews.com
