Early bird catches the worm.So , Home TV has more chance to dominate the DTH
market..Today's newspaper had dealer list of Home TV.They seem to be well
prepared for the compeion- making distributors in every parts of the
country. They seem more focused to the rural areas where there is most needed..I
think more than 2 DTH companies isnot good for Nepal as we dont have big
market.Other companies who dont have their own earth station or who have limited
capital may bear heavy loss.

All the best for HOME TV...I hope this news has
stirred up the SPACE TIME NETWORK ,who have been providing very poor service and
changing their tv channels frequently..

DTH is heartily welcomed for its quick operation in Nepal! Each channel should
have equal charge for selected paid channels for more than 20 channels. If the
rate per month is Rs. 400 for all 80 channels, per channel should be Rs.5/month
and the subscriber should not be compelled to subscribe all or more than 40
channels. The subscribers who are interested to subscribe all 80 channels and
pay in two installments, they should be given a discount of two months as in
Cable TV. If this could happen, many people will be attracted and subscribe in
great numbers. If there will be more than ten thousand subscribers, the Company
should decrease the rate in order to get more subscribers.
Definitely, the Govt.
should take strict action against the people those are using illegal DTH
program. They must be penalized. Start investigating from today.

govt. should have rate fixing policy.

supplier can give discount, but should
not charge less amount today and increase rate later after rise in member after
consumers have already invested.
