Maoist chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, who returned from a three-day trip to Singapore Wednesday, has claimed that the 22-party government will collapse very soon.

Talking to reporters at the Tribhuvan International Airport on his return from Singapore, Dahal said the "unnaturally constituted government" is going to be replaced by a new coalition government very soon.

Major parties are trying to reach consensus before the November 20 deadline given by the Maoist party expires, Dahal added.

Asked about his meeting with Koirala in Singapore, who is currently undergoing treatment there, Dahal said the Congress leader, too, is confident of early solution to current impasse.

Dahal had held discussion with Koirala on the possible solution to the deadlock, apart from inquiring about the latter's health condition. nepalnews.com
