Tribhuvan International Airport, the only international airport in the country, faced power cut for the second consecutive day on Sunday evening.
The airport was turned completely dark today from 17:35 to 17:52. The airport had faced similar fate for 10 minutes on Saturday as well.
Fortunately, no flights were affected due to power cut today since there weren’t any flights scheduled to land at or take off from the airport during that time.
The airport authority has not revealed the cause of power cut. Though, the country is currently facing load shedding for four hours daily, airport are supplied with power for 24 hours. nepalnews.com
