The government has formed a committee headed by chief secretary Madhav Ghimire to oversee the supply of commodities during the upcoming major festivals - Dashain and Tihar.

A cabinet meeting Friday evening formed the committee which comprises secretaries from the Finance Ministry, Ministry of Supplies and Home Ministry.

The committee will come up with the regulatory measures and set up mechanisms to ensure smooth supply of goods during the festival season.

Meanwhile, today's cabinet meeting decided to implement various agreements reached with Madhesi parties in the past. As per the decision, the government will provide compensation to those injured during agitations organised by Madhesi parties. The families of those killed during mass protests will also get compensation. nepalnews.com

Blasting horn on high pitch means shouting at the public "I am coming,
get
away from my way" to drive recklessly causing terror, deaths and
injuries to
hundred of people every day. Is it right ?? This is gravely wrong.
This kind of
act is gravely uncivilised and dangerous.

Dear brothers and
sisters please
join this campaign to get rid of this "horn and fast
drive" culture.
What a hell we are living in !!!!

This is a good move provided the scheme is implemented sincerely.
