No revolt after Tihar, Maoist leader says

A senior leader of the Unified CPN (Maoist) C. P. Gajurel had contradicted the statement given by his chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal that his party is launching stir shortly after the Tihar festival.

Speaking at a face-to-face with journalists in Sindhuli on Tuesday, the secretary and foreign department chief of the party said public revolt is possible only when people wish for it.

He said the protest his party has been launching was not meant for pulling down the government but to restore civilian supremacy. His party will lead the government only when civilian supremacy is guaranteed, he added.

In another context, Gajurel said nation can get a new constitution within five days if parties were able to forge consensus. nepalnews.com

It's shameful as well as misfortune to entire Nepalis to have politicians like
current Nepal got who are notorious for ignorging people's sovereign power and
democratic norms.The politicians of current Nepal must not forget that they have
not provided unlimited and uncontrolled mandate by people so that they could do
whatever they like including drafting democratic consution within five days.One
must not forget the fact that time and people's invisible flood power could
easily be defeated any so called power of politicians that includes armed power.

Now you are in right track, may be you have understood
peoples' voice against so called revolt after Tihar. Your chairman Prachanda is
going to be like a mad without PM post. If you Maobadi party wanna establish as
a Political Party then be unite make consensus with other parties and make New
Republican consution for Nepal. we don't say make new consution within 5 days
because within this period you cannot collect peoples voice and then again it
may need another Andolan.
