 Home Minister Bhim Rawal
Home Minister Bhim Rawal visited the site of the church collapse and met victims who have been admitted to the Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS).

The home minister promised free treatment to the victims apart from stating that the government will soon deliver a compensation package for the victims’ families.

At least 23 people were killed and 65 others injured when a three-storey bamboo shed built on the Zion Prayer House premises at Dharan Municipality-19 in Sunsari district collapsed on Tuesday night.

According to police, the structure collapsed as the jute ropes used to put the bamboo poles together were damaged after continuous rainfall throughout the afternoon.

The temporary shed with capacity to accommodate 200 people was also overcrowded with 700 when it crumbled down.

Police personnel and local people were involved in the rescue and most of the victims were females.

Thirty-five of the 65 injured have reportedly returned home after treatment. nepalnews.com

Dear Nepalese, We are now playing the bad role against our law and against the
religious belief. Do not think, your God will be happy killing other religious
people, Never you get excuse if you suffer human being. If you believe in
religion or on the God safe the life of all religious people. God never do
partility to their creaters if there is God in this world. How many people have
been geting trouble and lost their lives caused by your birth. Al religions try
to make life easy in a way. I am Hindu because I had no chance to chose
difference society to birth and socialize. I knew well Hindu than other
religions but I never think our is good one. Think and learn which religion is
the best way to make life of human being comfortable.Remember, Now you are in a
secular stat, it means freedom for a religion. There are lot of others problems
in our country, do not create more problems doing stupid things if you have a

Structural concept  - It seems it the defect of structural concept not G   |210.184.0.xxx |2009-10-02 03:49:13
Dear all
I think we should stop all the blame game, infact this things happens
due to inadquate structural concept,

In this Human Load was too high & the
management committe of that Church should have taken these things into
consideration before calling such a large number of people.

I personally feel
its an lesson that we have to learn that ,,, We cannot underestimate our own
weight ..... And the Church committe should be some what responsible for these
sort of things

9“And you, my son Solomon, acknowledge the God
of your father, and serve him
with wholehearted devotion
and with a willing mind, for the LORD searches
every
heart and understands every motive behind the
thoughts. If you seek him,
he will be found by you; but if
you forsake him, he will reject you forever.
10Consider
now, for the LORD has chosen you to build a temple as a
sanctuary.
Be strong and do the work.”
Oh! Lord our God, heal the
bereaved family members of the dead brothers and sisters. Let the departed souls
rest in peace.

Nepal is heading the same way as India by playing petty politics with minority
religious groups. Just because those killed happen to be Christians doesn't mean
that they are special in any way. Or are they? - that our political parties are
grooming them to become their vote banks for the future. I do sympathize with
those affected by this tragedy, but what about the thousands killed by the
insurgents and continue to be abducted, raped and murdered even now? Who pays
them compensation and who listens to their plight?

How about punishing the management Mr Rawal as this way you wil get better
management in future; and less tragedy and burden on the budget

what is the rational to distribute tax dollars as compensation package to the
victims. They need help for the last rite at the temple in this time of
need.

We should distribute as compensation package when situation such
arises.

It is an unfortunate event. may goddess Durga give the
strength........
