However, the Maoist ideologue, who is suspicious of the initiatives by the three main parties to create some sort of political consensus, said that the deadlock will not end unless the government is ready to correct the President's 'unconstitutional' move.
Dr Bhattarai, who was speaking at a press meet organized by Maoist aligned Revolutionary Journalists Association in Baglung district, said that 'correcting' President's decision to reverse the erstwhile Maoist government's decision to sack former Army chief Rookmangud Katawal and retaining him in the post was central to giving a way out to the current political problem.
When asked that the prime minister has challenged the Maoists to bring a proposal of impeachment against the President, he said his party might very well go to that length if things call for it.
"Our party is not scared of challenges or runs away from its responsibilities. We are ready to table the proposal of impeachment against the president if it is necessary," Dr Bhattarai said. nepalnews.com
