Unified CPN (Maoist) general secretary Ram Bahadur Thapa has said a solution to the current deadlock will come out of talks between main three parties soon after Tihar festival.
According to Thapa, three-party negotiations are moving towards positive direction and that a breakthrough will be reached after Maoist Pushpa Kamal Dahal returns from China on Sunday (Oct 18).
The Maoist general secretary said this while speaking at a press meet organised by the pro-Maoist Revolutionary Journalists Association in Itahari, Sunsari, on Saturday.
Accusing Nepali Congress and UML not being ready to resolve the stalemate, the Maoist leader said his party would launch a strong street protest if the President’s move is not rectified.
He also made it clear that the U-CPNM had not given up its demand that the President’s move be debated in the parliament. nepalnews.com
