Senior UML leader K.P Sharma Oli has said the parties have not been able to forge consensus because of doublespeak of the Maoist leaders.

Speaking at a programme organised by UML village committee of Balkot, Bhaktapur, on Sunday, Oli said Maoist leaders say one thing at the meetings with other parties and speak just the opposite to their cadres.

Oli, a staunch critic of the Maoists, further said that the legislature parliament and the Constituent Assembly must be allowed to function to complete peace process and the constitution-making process on time.

He said he was optimistic that a solution to the current deadlock would come out after the Tihar festival as the parties were still engaged in talks. nepalnews.com

Mr Oli seems no.1 to vomit tirade on Moists without trace of any remedial
measure. was no.1 to plead in fevor of Mahakali treaty. was no.1 failure as a
foreign minister to have evaded Nepal"s image in security council membership
election, failur to appoint ambadors in eighteen diff. countries, totally failure
to solve burning Bhutanese refugee problem. But again no.1 to appear in the
front page of the national dailies wah wah oliji.

For Mr. Bimal Karki,
To be able to rule in any democratic country, the winner as
you say, in our case the Maoists need atleast a 51% majority in the Parliament.
Unfortunately, they don't have this and just being the largest single party is
not enough. So, the combined opposition block has the right to rule provided
they have the required majority of members in the Parliament which the combined
NC, UML and coalition parties have. If you see the actual electorate percentage,
the Maoists have less than 33% of the total votes cast in the last election.
This means that more than two-third of Nepal's voters have rejected the Maoist
ideology. Now you tell me who the actual losers and who the actual winners are.
Maoists do not accept this factual argument. If they do, they have nothing to
argue about but to sit quietly on the opposition benches. So much for your
illogical argument in this forum!

Here Mrs/Ms Poonam Basnet and Co. must be somehow relatives of Bidya Boksini or
KP Dalaal. Why they are advocating in favour of such Bastard Dog.You should well
be aware that loosers are to be ruled by the winners; simple democracy
principle. You're not gonna gain anything by advocating such Donkeys.

For me and for many other Nepali citizens, Mr. Oli is a respected leader who has
a clear insight on contemporary political issues and who does not mince words
while speaking against political adversaries, wrong-doers and ill-wishers of the
country. His political contributions should also be noted immediately post CA
elections when Prachanda & Co. were in a big hurry to capture state power by
force declaring Nepal an authoritarian Communist state in the lines of North
Korea. Mr. Oli was undoubtedly instrumental in thwarting their efforts in this
direction having seen through their gameplan. We all know the consequences
having suffered during the Maoist insurgency. Many young men and women had to
flee the country to escape being drafted into the so-called PLA. These thousands
of displaced people continue to live in India working at menial jobs or in the
brothels of Mumbai and Delhi. Some that have returned find their homes and

For Mr. Anonymous & Co.
Thanks for your comments but the intemperate, illogical
and abusive language used in your comments shows up in your bad upbringing and
mental makeup. I can only feel sorry for people who use such poor language
debating on issues of national importance. It also shows that you really don't
have much to discuss or that you don't really care. Let me make it very clear;
expressing my personal views is my birth right and I am not about to sacrifice
that to threats or bullying. It is unfortunate that certain prominent and wise
leaders across party lines lost the last CA election by reasons of intimidation
and threats (we all know that), but that does not stop them from being
recognized or respected for their past contributions. The general feeling that
only elected CA members are leaders and that others have no rights to lead shows
how narrow-minded and petty our politics has become. For me and for many others

Over the whole process of peace, Oli has been one of the biggest obstruction
with his irritating speeches. This one person perhaps who does not want the
consion to be drafted. If the consution is completed and an election is held,
most of the current mobs of criminals and corrupt will loose in the election.
And perhaps after that a loser can not be PM or DPM or minister. Which will have
to be clearly include in the consution. So these blood ers would like to hang
into the power as long as they can. They will only give up, if all the Nepalese
drag them from Sinha Darbar and hang them in the open ground of Tundikhel.
Otherwise it does not looklike they will just keep doing Bakhedas and will not
do anything.

You are absolutely right Mr Poonam Basnet. Those who oppose you are no body but
Maoists puppet. in turn Maoists are Indian puppet more than any other political
parties. Someone can ask me why? I do not need to remind all of you aboutt he
deeds of Maoists. Just follow their activities starting from their birth,
Questions raised by them about the encroachment of India, Indian so called
hegemony in Nepali horizone, "official visit" by their suprenme dictator
Mr Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Pashupati temple Pujari saga etc. When time comes and
India puts ap ressure on them they become rat(mice). It is as clear as crystal.
Do anybody have to say anything, before the barge on degrading words and
sentences against Poonam?
