Maoist chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, who returned from weeklong visit to China Monday, said his party wants to resolve the current political deadlock through talks.

Speaking to reporters at the Tribhuvan International Airport on his return from Beijing, Dahal said Unified CPN (Maoist) had given priority to talks to resolve the stalemate than agitations against the President's move.

Dahal said he was hopeful that the ongoing three-party negotiations would arrive at a consensus very soon.

He also directly slammed the remarks of Defence Minister Bidhya Bhandari that the comprehensive peace agreement (CPA) should be revised to make it easier for Nepal Army to carry out its normal activities. The Maoist chairman said the norms of peace process must be upheld and warned the ministers against making statements against the CPA.

Dahal had gone to Beijing on October 11. In China, he met Chinese president Hu Jintao and other senior leaders of the Chinese Community Party, discussing relations between Nepal and China and the two communist parties.

Vice chairman Mohan Baidya, party's foreign department chief Krishna Bahadur Mahara and his son accompanied him during the trip. nepalnews.com

For Kancho writing about Prachanda designing the National Flag.

Are you sure
you wish to accept Communist Dictatorship in exchange for peace being restored
in our country? You must be very naive Kancho. Look at what happened in Vietnam,
Cambodia, North Korea just to name a few. Did they find peace? Whole
generations
were lost to bloodshed, poverty, crime. In North Korea these
atrocities still
carry on today. These countries have had communism over fifty
odd years now. The simple reason for all such crimes is impunity that is granted
as unsaid favours to all that are connected to that one Single Party. Would you,
Kancho, like to see your sister, girlfriend or wife being forced to serve bodily
favours to the Comrades? If you don't care, then you are not a man worthy to be
called a Nepali!

Its a positive thing. We are all hopeful that the present deadlock will be
resolved through talks. But if these people oldies and the people like oli and
girija keep making maoists lingering for nothing, there is no alternative than
protest. But look at Girija, his antim sapana is to see sujata in the prime
minister's chair. And then he will get to heavenly peace. Otherwise what UML
wants is to become minister and earn money from politics or business or
NGO/INGO. The only hope is now with maoists about the NEw nepal. If maoists are
not let do this and they are pushed to do the protests again, the country will
get into civil war. no doubt......So, the leaders of nepali congress, like
ramchandra, ramsharan, arjunnarsing you people stop making bhasands you people
know very well how to play with words but no work. did you feel comfortable to
be under Ku-Jata didi? Hahaha... Thats what you people deserve.

"his party wants to resolve the current political deadlock through
talks."?? why didn't you think of that before killing thousands of innocent
Nepalis??
sounds like the chinese finally put you back in your rightful place,
huh?
or did prachanda realize that his god, mao, is not even revered in his own
birthplace anymore?
