The leader of the Terai centric party which led the first Madhesh movement told a local radio station Sunday that MJF is discussing the nature of their protests and that the agitation programmes will soon be made public.
He said the party is organizing the protest to exert pressure on the government to fulfill its earlier commitment to implement the past agreements it had done with Unified Madhesi Democratic Front (UMDF) which comprises MJF and two Madhesi parties currently in the UML-led government.
Yadav said if the party's pressure tactics fail to bring forth desired results then bandhs, strikes including other protest programs will be organised to achieve the same.
The Maoists have also given November 1 deadline to the government to come up with an understanding on issues raised by the party vis-à-vis the President's move on the Army chief row or else it will launch a strong nationwide agitation.
But Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal on Saturday requested the Maoist party to come to a political understanding by giving up its protest programmes.
PM Nepal said street protests would not lead to any solution and that there is no alternative to a compromise to resolve the current stalemate. nepalnews.com
