 Upendra Yadav
Coinciding with the Maoist ultimatum to the government to address the demands raised by the party or face nationwide protests, Chairman of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (MJF) Upendra Yadav has said that the party will wage fresh agitation in Madhesh starting November 1.

The leader of the Terai centric party which led the first Madhesh movement told a local radio station Sunday that MJF is discussing the nature of their protests and that the agitation programmes will soon be made public.

He said the party is organizing the protest to exert pressure on the government to fulfill its earlier commitment to implement the past agreements it had done with Unified Madhesi Democratic Front (UMDF) which comprises MJF and two Madhesi parties currently in the UML-led government.

Yadav said if the party's pressure tactics fail to bring forth desired results then bandhs, strikes including other protest programs will be organised to achieve the same.

The Maoists have also given November 1 deadline to the government to come up with an understanding on issues raised by the party vis-à-vis the President's move on the Army chief row or else it will launch a strong nationwide agitation.

But Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal on Saturday requested the Maoist party to come to a political understanding by giving up its protest programmes.

PM Nepal said street protests would not lead to any solution and that there is no alternative to a compromise to resolve the current stalemate. nepalnews.com

When you file a report, please mention the location of the happening. For
example, you mention Upendra Yadav talking to a "local radio station".
Where was that? Was it it Janakpur, KTM, BRT, or where the hell was it???!!!

Ohh.. Please give up these things. Why again strike street protests don't you
have an alternative to pressurize government to work on what you're willing to.
You can work out from the other way from which your voice can be heard by the
government and also, nation can on go on with peace without any disturbance. So,
Upendra think of it. Don't go childish.

Hello Upendra!
Say Nepal, think about your country and all the countrymen
first, rest will follow automatically.Don't be silly and selfish and go for
madesh only! You don't have to go for bundha, hartal, mar pit etc.Say Nepal and
everything will follow peacefully.Take it as your mantra or you are finished!

Here we go! Every morning as I wake up in this distant land and try and find
whats going on back home, it feels me with sadness! News of fresh stirs,
political stalemate, violence and so on! MJF is one of the worst( the worst are
ofcoursre the gun carrying Maoist guerillas) parties to come out in the last
decade! They have absolutely no political ideology! They change sides as if it
were a game of deceit. What good has happened to the madhesis? And all this talk
of autonomous states and bull! Nepal as of now is already a tiny country! Why
are you guys trying to break it into pieces? Why cant we acknowledge each others
presence and live in harmony? Terai bands paralyses the country's economy( or
whatever is remaining of it). Nothing good can come out of violence as far as I
am concerned! But who am I? Another Nepalese citizen whose voice doesnt mean a
thing! Whatever!!

This jackle(MJF) was quiet for sometimes. But when the big jackle
(Maoist)started crying...Huiyaa..to start so called fresh stir(agitation)soon
this juackle started..huiyaa..loudly. The big jackle could not come up in the
people first and inspired sitting behind the other one(MJF) to make a start.
