Speaking at a function in Jaleshowr on Sunday, Thakur said failure of Nepali Congress, CPN (UML) and UCPN (Maoist) to reach a consensus despite several rounds of talks and discussions has derailed the peace process and delayed constitution writing.

However, he mentioned that if parties show their sincere interest, time is still enough to write the constitution within the stipulated time frame.

Thakur urged for positive thoughts among parties not to push the country into economic crisis. The country is likely to face an economic crisis if the obstruction in the parliament continues for another one week.

He further said, the government is not serious towards implementing the agreement reached with Madhesi fronts some years ago. nepalnews.com
