DAO sources said, the extension of the prohibited zone was revoked as government employees working in offices in and around Singha Durbar lamented of possible traffic snarls around the area, tomorrow.
However, the prohibitory order immediately around Singha Durbar, imposed when UCPN (Maoist) was leading the government is still in place.
Kathmandu DAO revoked its orders minutes after UCPN (Maoist) vice chairman Babu Ram Bhattarai announced his party would defy the prohibitory orders imposed yesterday. Bhattarai added, his party will comply with the prohibitory orders imposed before yesterday. nepalnews.com
