The CA chair said that the Maoists were positive about giving a passage to the budget bill during yesterday's meeting, but were annoyed with the government for not wanting to end the current impasse by forging consensus.
Nemwang said he conveyed this Maoist concern to the prime minister who in response assured that he would take initiatives to find a way out of the parliament deadlock by communicating with the Maoists and other major parties.
I am now hopeful that a way out of the parliament deadlock can be found through talks, Nembang told the waiting media-persons.
PM Nepal is recuperating at his official residence after suddenly contracting viral fever last week. He cancelled his scheduled visit to Italy to attend a summit on food security organised by Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) last week and couldn't also attend the meeting of the Special Committee for overseeing the integration and management of Maoist combatants on Sunday due to his ill-health.
