Constitutional Council meeting deferred

A meeting of the Constitutional Council, which was to take place on Tuesday, has been postponed as Maoist chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, who is a member of the council, would be absent. Dahal left for Singapore today.

The Council notified about the postponement of the meeting today. The meeting was to take a decision on the appointment of new Chief Justice.

CJ Min Bahadur Rayamajhi is to take compulsory retirement three weeks later. nepalnews.com
