Sources say, the duo also discussed future of disqualified Maoist combatants, minors at the cantonments, current political deadlock and obstruction at the parliament caused by the main opposition party Unified CPN (Maoist).
Properties seized by the Maoist and effective implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement were also discussed.
This is the first time Langren called on the top leader from the ruling coalition since her return from New York after presenting periodic report at the UN.
The ruling coalition had raised objection regarding several provisions in the report and UN General Secretary’s statement on Nepal saying UN is interfering into internal affairs of the country.
