Koirala, who hired air ambulance to fly to Singapore returned to Kathmandu on a Silk Air flight along with daughter and deputy prime minister Sujata Koirala and team of Nepali doctors who accompanied him.
Sujata told media persons upon arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport that doctors have suggested for follow up check up after a month. She said that NC president’s health is improving satisfactorily and he will start political discussion in a few days.
Sujata did not inform much about the close-door discussion between Girija Prasad Koirala and Maoist chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal held in Singapore. “It focused on forging political consensus and formation of the all-party political mechanism,” she said.
Large number of party cadres along with parliamentary party leader Ram Chandra Poudel had reached the airport to receive him.
Koirala, who has been suffering from chronic respiratory diseases and troubled by recurrent pneumonia, had left for Singapore on November 14. nepalnews.com
