Koirala refutes rumours of govt change

Nepali Congress president Girija Prasad Koirala has refuted speculations that his Singapore meeting with Maoist chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal was for change in government leadership.

According to prime minister’s political advisor Raghu Pant, Koirala reiterated his support for continuity of the current coalition government during the meeting between Koirala and Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal at Koirala's residence in Maharajgunj on Sunday evening.

“This government must get continuity until new constitution is written,” Pant quoted Koirala as saying.

According to Pant, the discussion mainly concentrated on passing budget from the parliament and formation of the high-level political mechanism that is expected to heal the current deadlock.

I totally agree. There is not a necessity & possibility of govenment change
right now. Maoist leadership donot make any sense at this point in Nepali

This coalition GVMT must not necessarily bow down with Maoist as they
voluntarily resigned from governing and handed over to Ma Ku Ne and coalition
governemnt.When Maoist were in the government they were sick because they had
other habit to do such as blockade, looting, shooting, killing, kidnapping etc.
so they couldn't digest to do some good work and they feel they are in prison
but not in GVMT. Their business is to be out of the governemnt and to do their
business as usual because they can't control their mind and body. They only feel
good if they can do sth they used to do during insurgency.
