A brief meeting of the ruling coalition held at Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal's official residence in Baluwatar on Monday morning decided to call back all their lawmakers who are out of Kathmandu to participate in the House sitting.
According to the leaders, the meeting concluded to pass the appropriation bill by Tuesday and the budget by Wednesday. As per the regulations, budget should be presented at the parliament for endorsement 72 hrs after passing the appropriation bill. The business advisory committee of the parliament on Sunday had decided to suspend the provisions for passing the budget.
The parliamentary proceedings resume from Monday after nearly fourth months of disturbances by Maoists. The House is yet to hold discussions on budget allocation for 16 ministries. nepalnews.com
