Koirala, a Nepali Congress leader, claimed that the existing political deadlock would be able to find an outlet if there is a high-level political mechanism led by NC president Girija Prasad Koirala.
DPM Koirala also clarified that there was no agreement between Maoist chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Girija Prasad Koirala on formation of new government in Singapore earlier this month. DPM Koirala was in Singapore during the meeting between her father and the Maoist chairman in Singapore.
She also crititicised the Maoist decision to declare autonomous federal units, adding that such a move goes against the peace agreement and create hindrances in the ongoing efforts to reach political consensus. nepalnews.com
