Two more cases of Swine-flu detected

The global pandemic Swine Flu Influenza A (H1N1) has been detected in two more persons Thursday raising the flu-toll to five.

According to information given by Laxmi Bam of National Center for Health Education and Information, the flu has been detected in two children – one 17 months and the other five years old.

They had flown to Kathmandu via Doha on June 21.

According to Bam, the 17-month infant had come to Nepal on the same flight with those three people on whom the flu was detected earlier. The five-year old child is relative of that family.

Earlier the doctors had said one of the infected persons has already come into contact with more than a hundred persons and that health officials are studying whether the virus has spread to others.

Bam further informed that the virus detection was confirmed only today. The identities of the flu detected children has not been disclosed as per family request and they are undergoing treatment in a hospital and that family members have been instructed to take all possible precautions to prevent further spread.

what we need to know is that this is cureable disease.

and fact is that is
spreading so fast even we imagine.

we all including government need to spread
informations about it as faster we can - from what is it,what are the symptoms
of this disease,precuation To it's treatments.

this is a really only way to
fight with this fast spreading disease whom WHO has declared as pandemic.

let
us join our hands and spread ur informations that we know to people who are
really in need.

H1N1 is nothing as far as my understanding.This is exackley the same as common
flue. The best precaution is to stay in the home if you feel unwell.....

i think there were hundreds of pengers in the plane. and i think the persons
have contacted with most of them. its very fast spreading virus through air. so
i think most of the persons may be affected with the virus H1N1. all pengers are
not tested whether they are suffered or not. they have gone to their own place.
if they are suffered then its goona be a great threat to nepal and its citizens.
hope that all pengers do not have this virus and government call all the pengers
and check them.

Pls read the news carefully before complaining. "They had flown to
Kathmandu via Doha on June 21" which means some airline has carried
Swine-fle infected pengers to Nepal. It might be from Doha or connecting pengers
from other countries. Nepal was pretty much not affected despite of our poor
sanitation system. Our government is no doubtedly incompetant but NOT the
Nepalese.

With nepal's horrible sanitation problems and touch feely culture and mostly
incompetent government, there is great fear here for the future.
