| CPN (UML) chairman Jhala Nath Khanal |
Speaking at a program organized by Federation of Nepalese Journalists in Bhojpur, he said the Maoists can't shy away from their responsibility towards the country by saying that they are not in the government.
He, however, said if the Maoists are concerned about timely drafting of the constitution and peace they should join the government.
The UML strongman also expressed serious concern at the Maoist act of declaring autonomous states.
"It will only lead to a disintegration of the country," he warned, adding that the move has further isolated the Maoists both inside the nation and outside.
He claimed that no one can topple the UML-led government and said it will remain in power until the country has a new constitution and the peace process is taken to a logical conclusion. Nepalnews.com
