The main opposition party Unified CPN (Maoist) has called strike for hours in Kailali district on Saturday morning protesting the Nepal Army patrolling in Dudejhari jungle.

The agitators claim that armed Nepal Army personnel from Surkhet reached Dudejhari patrolling through Sugarkhaal, Pandoum, Khimari and Mohanyaal areas. However, Nepal Army has not clarified the reasons.

The opposition party claimed patrolling by Nepal Army was the breach of the peace accord and that the strike was called to draw attention of the government.

The strike has been called back after local authority said it was a mistake for army personnel to travel through the forest.

Transportations were halted for hours along local roads and east-west highway.

Few weeks ago, Maoists called Kailali bandh for several days after clash between the Maoist-sponsored landless squatters and police in Dudejhari forest. nepalnews.com

We the people have paid for the Nepal army, Nepal police and Armed Police force
to patrol the lands, mountains, rivers and jungles of Nepal and NOT THE MAOISTS
!!!!
It is the duty of the Nepal Army to patrol any place they are ordered to
do so!!!!
It seems a Maoist Wipe Out Campaign is now ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY for
the country to move ahead !!!!!
Otherwise everyone can be slaves to the filthy
ugly Maoists
