Deputy Prime Minister and foreign minister Sujata Koirala has said there should be an investigation on the role of police on the murder of media entrepreneur Jamim Shah.

Deputy PM Koirala, who had gone to Shah's residence in Panipokhari to express condolence to the bereaved family, told reporters, the daylight murder at a place considered the safest in the capital had raised questions about the police's role.

Shah was shot dead near French embassy in Lazimpat, Kathmandu, Sunday. Police have not arrested the culprit behind the murder.

The fact that the criminals could escape from such a place at a time when large number of security personnel were deployed in the area keeping in view the oath taking of the Vice President and the British Army chief’s visit has raised a lot of questions about the police, she said. nepalnews.com

Eeither she does not know what she is saying or there is somo ething deliberate she wants to limit investigation like: 1. Not to investigate any role of India 2.
