I think the former minister and other Dalit leaders made the right choice by
going into the Maoist party. There are very few leaders inside NC who are
interested in Dalit liberation, whereas UML is the party without no clear
agenda. This is the fact, Pradip Giri, one of the NC leader sympathetic to Dalit
issues, pointed out this fact in his article in kantipur a week ago. Now, that
would be nice if these leaders could fight without any political affiliation,
but Dallit organizations are not that powerful yet to fight alone, they have to
go through some political party. Maoist party is not in good shape at the
moment, but they are the ones who brought up this caste issues.

These guys are jumping from a pond to blazing flame of fire. They are real
opperunists. They are more interested to clean the underwears of Prachanda and
baburam then serve the country and their community. A true servant of the people
doesnt need any political affiliations. They have swithed their parties for
their own interests Not for the upliftment of the so called dalits.

"DALIT" Where does this word come from? It should be wiped out of the
text books and should be banned for common use. Unless we do this, the people of
so-called lower castes will be regarded as SLAVES as long as the word DALIT
remains in use. It`s time that we should start thinking and behaving like human
beings and are one NEPALESE!!!
