With the theme "Save Energy - Protect Environment", the expo will showcase a number of products that consume less energy and will also be holding seminar on ways to save energy.
The five-day event will be held at Exhibition Hall, Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu .
The show will put on display electronic and energy equipment manufactured by different national and international companies.
The event also aims to showcase the latest technological development in various electrical products and energy equipment to the general public. During the event, visitors can also buy or book desired products on the spot.
The event will display various electronic and energy equipment like transmissions and distribution equipment, house-wiring systems and cables and conductors, CFL bulbs, air conditioners, electric heaters, lighting fixtures and other household and official electronic appliances. Electric vehicles, solar equipment, alternative energy equipment and hydropower related equipment are also to be featured in the event.
More than 60 products from the US, China, India, Japan, France, Korea, Malaysia, Germany and Nepal will be put on display in 162 stalls. This is the 5th time that the association is organising this type of event after first electrical show in 1996.
