But the strong Tajikistan players soon hit back and leveled the score by converting a penalty which the central Asian team got after one of its players was brought down inside the penalty box.
But the Nepali fans were left disappointed after Tajikistan scored another goal soon after half-time and maintained the lead until the final whistle was blown.
