Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) Saturday bade farewell to the Nepal National cricket team participating in the ACC T-20 Cup being held in UAE from November 20 to 30.
The Nepal team is going to Delhi first to play some friendly matches before going to UAE.
CAN President Binaya Raj Pandey, Youth & Sports Secretary Sushil Rana among others bid farewell to the team. On the occasion, secretary Rana handed over the ICC Centenary Award to CAN member Naresh Kumar Shrestha. Shrestha is manager of the team participating in ACC T-20 Cup.
The team includes Binod and Paresh Lohani (former national captains) and Binod Bhandari and Naresh Budhaaiyr (debuntants).
Others in the team are Mehboob Alam, Sanjam Regmi, Paresh Lohani, Dipendra Chaudhary, Gyanendra Malla, Sarad Vesawkar, Shakti Gauchan, Basanta Regmi, Amrit Bhattarai and Mahesh Chhetri.
Rahul Kumar BK, Ajay Rajbanshi and Chandar Sawad have been named as alternatives.
Roy Luke Dias is the coach while Manjur Alam Khan is his deputy. nepalnews.com
