The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) bid farewell to the national football team amid a small program at ANFA Complex, Satdobato, Lalitpur, Thursday.
The Nepal national team flew to Kolkata Thursday to play two friendly matches against Mohun Bagan and Chirag United. Nepal team will reach Dhaka, Bangladesh on 2nd December. The SAFF Championship is starting from 4th December.
ANFA requested former Nepal Coach Shyam Thapa to fix some friendly matches in India.
At the function, ANFA advisors Anil Shah, CEO of Nabil Bank, CP Khetan from Khetan Group and Shekhar Golcha from Golcha Organization announced a prize reward for the national team if they win the trophy or cross the group stage.
The advisors will provide 100,000 rupees to all 20 members of the team if they win and 40,000 each if they reach the semifinals.
