Nepal wins team championship in Budo Kaido Karate

Nepal has clinched team championship award in the 4th Indo-Nepal Bir Ganesh Man memorial full-contact Budo Kaido Martial Arts championship.

In all, 180 players from Nepal and India took part in the 3-day-event. Rakesh Thapa of Nepal won gold in 25 kg weight category while Suresh KC won gold in 30 kg category.

In the event, Budo Kaido coaches Kaji Man Shrestha, Kedar Man Sthapit, Bir Krishna Maharjan and Rajan Gahatraj demonstrated various exhibition games.

Meanwhile, Nepalese ladies Basketball team defeated Kuwait 32-27 to secure a first international win for Nepal in the 1st youth Asian Games being held in Singapore.

Other Nepali athletics and the shooting team returned home after taking part in the games - participating players returned home after losing their first round matches. nepalnews.com

being a nepali i wanna suggest that nepali sports should build up the strong
