Y.S.  - Wrong information!!!   |202.79.51.xxx |2009-11-06 08:13:11
I was on that raft actually, and what I can tell you is this:

1. There were no
other dutch people in our group.

2. There was no rope involved - the girl just
drowned because the raft flipped (despite our request not to)on a dangerous
spot.

3. the guide forgot to count the people and didn't notice she was missing
until 2-3 minutes later, after the group told him so. And the empty seat was
just in front of him!

4. The company responsible is "Paddle Nepal" in
Pokhara, which continues to work like nothing happened.

5. We didn't even get a
chance to speak to the police, like it was promised at first, so your
information is completely based on what the company gave you.
