Maiti Nepal, Nepalgunj, rescued 20 girls and women while they were being trafficked to India from the Indo-Nepal border point in Banke district on Sunday, reports RSS.
According to police, Rahul Sapkota of Kohalpur was taking the rescued to India promising them good jobs there.
The rescued are school students aged between 11 and 13 years and women above 25 years from Salyan and Banke districts, said regional coordinator of Maiti Nepal Keshab Koirala, adding, the former were in school uniform.
