About three dozen schools run by Rastriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) in the border area of Maharajgunj Janapad of Bihar, India will teach Nepali language to their students from the next academic session, Kantipur daily reported.

Such decision was taken as Nepali students also study at those schools and the Indian students, too, are interested in learning Nepali language.

The provision will initially be implemented at elementary level and gradually be implemented in secondary level.

Not only will Nepali students benefit from the new system, the Indian students will also benefit as more language one learns, better his horizon becomes, said principal of an RSS run school Binaya Pande.

Pande suggested the Nepali schools in the border area to reciprocate the RSS policy by teaching Hindi in Nepali schools so as to strengthen cultural, marital and trade ties Nepal and India. nepalnews.com

Its sounds great that some schools of boarder area are positive towards nepali
language; but on the other hand when they request to reciprocate the same; that
is to teach hindi language in nepali schools of boarder area; end of the day
they will remove nepali from their school and will interfare while removing
hindi from our side. I can't say that this could not happen. So, though it looks
great! something wrong; we are happy as how we are; if the students want to
learn nepali they can learn by their own; or they are most welcome in nepali
schools of boarder side; we appreciate it; but at any cost we can't teach hindi
in our school.

Am I right Nepali Bros and Sis?

Nepal National Security and Sovereignty must be First: We must protect our
motherland Nepal from indian invasion by indian politics, indian population and
indian criminals into Nepal. Otherwise Nepal and Nepalese ideny will NOT EXIST
in future. How can we protect our country?
(1) Establish ARM border security
Army & police check post.
(2) Border army and police must patrol border
villages and remote area by daily day and night.
(3) Border illegal indian
villages, home and people must be remove immidately once for good and
security.
(4) Nepali borders must be build huge concerte pillars, build border
in/out access gates, build barwire un-secure border area.
(5) Spread and teach
border's Nepalese people about - National unity, Security, Sovereignity, Social
& political problems, national patriotism etc.
Then only we can secure Nepal,
our Lands and Live happly without on indian hles. We must takecare our country.

This is a good gesture. This is also a ground reality that there is a strong
cultural and social ties between Nepalese and Indians in the boarder areas.
Marital relations between these two is very common. Most of the Nepalese also
wants to study there because of the convenience. Therefore RSS run schools in
Bihar are doing splendid . jobs. I fully agree with the principal Mr. Pande that
it would be good if Hindi be taught in the schools of Nepal in the boarder
areas. Thankyou.

this sounds very strange, but i must say i love students becoming intelligent.
How can we make both languages as compulsory in schools, how far can it go, and
what makes us to make that big decision? I hope this is not a part of politics.
Chiran  - Looks like some trick   |203.206.128.xxx |2010-01-05 13:41:40
Almost entire population of Nepal already understands Hindi regardless of
whether this language is taught in schools or not, thanks to Hindi tv channels,
movies, music, magazines, etc. Doesn't matters whether Hindi is taught in school
or college, Nepalese people are already proficient at it.

I think this just a
trick from Indian side to make is this whole instance official.

Out of topic
and also bit ironic, if you checkout English language on other hand, which is
taugh in school and college in all levels throughout, how many people
understands English as good as they understand Hindi, litrate or illitrate
regardless? Strange, isn't? I believe this just shows how enormours Indian
influence we have upon us?
